Glowforge is compatible with JPG, PNG, SVG, PDF, and other file formats.
The maximum processing size for the Glowforge is 11.5” x 20”.
The maximum cut & engrave height is .5”.
Library Staff will not resize, adjust, or manipulate your files prior to processing. Files must adhere to the color, format, and size requirement of the Glowforge prior to being submitted. If any changes are required to successfully complete the job, the Library will not proceed until the patron fixes the errors and resubmits the corrected file.
The Library is not responsible for cutting or engraving errors if they are a result of an improperly prepared file.
2D designs can be created with Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, or CorelDRAW.
The Library has a subscription to the full Adobe Creative Suite on 5 different computers available to students, faculty, and staff.
The Glowforge is equipped with a trace tool, that allows you to scan in a hand drawn or printed image for cutting or engraving.
