Willet Library

Welcome to Willet Library! This tour will introduce you to the Library and the resources we provide. The Lucy Lester Willet Memorial Library offers a variety of services to support student research and the college curriculum. The library provides extensive electronic and print resources, including more than 100 databases supporting a full range of curricular programs. Professional librarians offer reference and research assistance, workshops and other learning opportunities designed to foster information-literacy skills for academic success and life-long learning.

Circulation Desk

As you enter the Library, you will see the Circulation Desk. This is where you come to check out books, items on reserve, and Interlibrary Loan materials. Remember that your student ID card is your Library card and you must have it with you in order to check items out.

1st Floor Computers

There are 20 computers on the 1st floor for students to use. These computers are available 24 hours a day.

The Design Lab (DLab) is equipped with two PCs and a Mac which have the full Adobe Creative Suite. It also houses two 3D printers and a 3D scanner. In order to print or scan, you must first see library staff at the Circulation Desk for assistance. You can use this link to find out more about our 3D technology.

2nd Floor Stacks

The Periodical and Reference Collections are housed on the 2nd floor. These items are for in house use only. The Juvenile, Nursing, Scores, and Oversized books are also on the 2nd floor.

‚ÄčThe Makerspace in Willet Library is open to all Wesleyan College faculty, staff, and students. Users will have 24-hour access to the room upon finishing a 30-minute training session with one of the Librarians. We have consumables available through donation. While most materials in the room are free to use, if you have specific material in mind for your project, you will need to provide your own.
